Plan Profile
This is a wide ranch home plan with three-car garage; for construction on a large lot. Tropical influences in the stucco, tile roof, & arched windows give this home a Mediterranean feel. Could be four bedrooms, or three plus a library or home office.

Family home has room to spread out in
Families looking for a home with plenty of elbow room will appreciate the Magnolia. The only small room in this plan is a powder room tucked in a corner between the kitchen and the garage.
To start with, this mid-size plan is a little over 113 feet wide, so it needs a good-sized lot. Bedrooms and a library are to the left of the entry, gathering spaces to the right.
The family room/kitchen is huge, and its vaulted ceiling makes it seem even larger. With the entry at one end, the kitchen at the other, a wealth of windows spans the rear. The space is expanded further by a garden window in front of the kitchen sink and a bayed eating nook. Cabinetry that houses an entertainment center spans the wall opposite the windows.
A work island/snack bar augments the generous storage and counter space in the kitchen. Utilities are conveniently close, located in a triangular-shaped room between the kitchen and the three-car garage. An external door to the rear yard allows this room to serve as a mud room, or be used for clean-up after gardening.
The living room, with its coffered ceiling and wide projected window, is elegant. The dining room is bright, and large enough to accommodate festive gatherings.
Luxuries in the Magnolia's master suite include a vaulted ceiling, sliding French doors to the rear, a large walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with a huge two-person shower. The bathroom also has twin lavs and a spa tub.
