Country Styling with Contemporary Flair

An exceptionally bright, wide open great room is at the core of the Saddlebrook, an imposing country-style home with a contemporary exterior.

Outside, smooth stepped and raised stone caps the stone veneer wainscoting and massive, squared columns. A graceful arched opening highlights the lofty porch, while echoing the gentle arched shape of windows over the garage.

Inside, the foyer's 12-foot ceiling is every bit as high as the porch. Double doors on the right open out from the coat closet, while those on the left open into a parlor, windowed on two sides.

The great room is even brighter. Windows fill the wall on both sides of an unusual two-sided gas fireplace that can be enjoyed from the patio, great room and kitchen. Windows fill most of the dining rooms rear wall as well.
