	Craftsman detailing adds nostalgic charm to this mid-size, two-story plan, designed for construction on a fairly narrow lot. If built without the porte-cochere, its footprint could be narrower still.
	Twin sets of slender wooden columns highlight the covered front porch. The entry section is vaulted, while the section to its right has a nine-foot ceiling. It's easy to imagine lazing away a summer afternoon on a lounge chair here, or relaxing on an old-fashioned porch swing hung at the far right.
	Inside, the two-story foyer is brightened by a wide set of windows on the upper level. Just inside the front door, a stairway along the left wall climbs to the second floor. To the right, a wide opening leads into a living room with a modern gas fireplace.
	This room, in turn, flows into the dining room/kitchen area. Twin sets of slender columns add grace to the passage from living room to dining room. A raised and rounded conversation bar bounds the outer edge of the roomy C-shaped kitchen. Counters extend along two walls; cupboards are on all three. Standing at the kitchen sink, you face into the dining room and can gaze out the side window as well.
	Laundry appliances and a powder room are at the rear, along with direct access to the porte-cochere. This will be most appreciated when unloading groceries in inclement weather. The den, at the rear of the dining room, boasts a good-sized closet plus direct access to a rear covered patio.
	All three of the Grovedale's bedrooms are upstairs, along with two bathrooms, with double vanities. Luxuries in the owners' suite bathroom also include a walk-in closet, spa tub, large shower, and totally private toilet.
