Luxury homes are best for the homeowners looking for every amenity and comfort. Luxury homes feature designs that echo chateaus and lodges, and Mediterranean and Tuscan style homes.
The entrances to most luxury homes are designed to capture attention. Some feature iron gate entrances, arched entries and two story foyers with vaulted ceilings. Most homes will feature spacious patios or deck areas, with French doors or sliders out onto the deck from a majority of the first level rooms. Some decks may even feature fireplaces or outdoor kitchen areas. Decks may also be private to the rooms they’re off of, for example a private patio off of the master suite.
 
The kitchens have plenty of space for both dining, breakfast bars and larger pantry spaces. Kitchens most likely feature granite counter tops, in addition to larger islands for more prep space. Many rooms may feature built in hutches or storage spaces, some designs may even incorporate built in entertainment centers.
 
Most bedrooms in luxury homes also have their own private bathrooms. Bathrooms may include special tubs, claw foot or spa, dual vanities and larger showers. Bedrooms may also feature a large walk-in closet or his and hers closets.
 
Some other features may be great rooms, rec rooms, libraries, nooks or studies, plenty of bedrooms and more. An additional perhaps smarter feature to luxury homes, is the design work of separating bedrooms into more apartment-like sections of the house to maintain a maximum amount of privacy throughout the home.
