About Associated Designs

In 1990, home designer Rick McAlexander joined forces with artist Floyd Dinger to found Associated Designs Residential Design Services in Eugene, Oregon. Floyd has since passed on, but Rick continues as president, and with a design and support staff, the company continues to grow.

Associated Designs home plans are created by talented designers with more than 45 years of combined home design experience. Weekly columns featuring our plans are published in more than 800 newspapers around the country. Since the company was founded, we have sold more than 60,000 home plans.

Over 550 of our best plans are also available in a convenient catalog. A low-cost Review Plan can be ordered for any design, and full blueprint Builder Packages are available in a variety of configurations. For more details, see Ordering Information.
