The Woodcliffe is a Northwest-Style Craftsman House Plan

The bold wooden beams of the porte cochere and entry, springs to mind is an upscale lodge, or a Northwestern-style chalet. Either designation could easily fit this one level Craftsman-style home.

Past the vaulted porte cochere is a vaulted breezeway that leads to a lofty vaulted porch. Handsome squared wooden posts support and accent the whole passageway. Entering the home, you step into a beautiful vaulted great room, that is richly windowed at the rear. A fireplace and home entertainment center line the right side wall. If you like the feel of Craftsman lodge-style, you will fall in love with the Woodcliffe.

Two of the great room's five window sets slide open to provide air flow and access to a large patio, part of which is covered and vaulted. On the left of the great room is an unusually long, multi-angled eating bar which marks the kitchen's boundary.

More light flows into the kitchen through a skylight. Working at the cook top or handy prep sink, you look into the great room and can enjoy the rear vista too. A bayed nook is at one end and a large walk-in pantry is at the other, right around the corner from a large home office with a free-standing woodstove. Counters, shelves and a desk with file drawers are all built into this skylit space, as is a closet that fills the rear wall.

Storage closets line the hallway on the right, which leads to a vaulted den and the owners' suite. Luxuries here include a double-wide walk-in closet and a skylit bathroom with a soaking tub and an oversized walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms, a vaulted family room and a double-entry bathroom are in the left wing of the home.
