From the front, the Eagle Crest appears to be a classic cabin plan with a 1.5 story layout. A large porch wraps around the entire main level and shutters framing the windows add to the country charm. Around the left side of the home are two entrances. The first door is an informal entry that opens to the utility room allowing it to serve as a mud hall. Further down the side is the main entry which brings family and friends into the vaulted great room.
Inside, the great room is filled with natural light from the a-frame filled with windows. Whether a lot has urban, mountain, lake, or river views they will be spectacularly captured in the great room. To keep from blocking any views, the cozy fireplace is located on the side. Opposite the fireplace, French doors open up to the wrap-around covered porch. From the right side you see that there is more to this floor plan.
The back of the main floor is filled with two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Back at the entry, one set of stairs runs up to the vaulted loft where views out the back of the home can continued to be enjoyed. The rest of the upper floor is filled with the owners’ suite which boasts a walk-in closet and private bathroom with dual vanities, separate spa tub and walk-in shower plus storage.
What wasn’t apparent from the street view of the Eagle Crest was the walk-out basement. Designed for a lot that slopes down and to the right, the basement floor plan offers homeowners’ flexibility. For larger families the basement offers a fourth bedroom. If the additional bedroom is not needed this room would make a good home office, guest room, exercise studio, or hobby room. Larger gatherings can spread out between the main floor great room and the basement recreation room. Making entertaining easier is the kitchenette off the recreation room. In addition to the extra living space is the full bathroom just steps away from the bedroom along with direct access to the one car garage.
With ample covered outdoor space and sweeping window rich walls ideal for framing any view, the Eagle Crest is designed for those who love to live both inside and out.
