Unique tri-level Ridgeview has room, great views
The Ridgeview is a roomy, Craftsman-style home with living space on three levels and great views to the front. It would make a delightful beach house or vacation home for family and friends.
Balconies edged with wooden handrails face the street on two levels. Textures are varied. Shingles cover the upper floor, stone veneer wraps around the lower level, and lap siding girds the middle. Exposed beams and supports add to the visual interest, accenting the gables and lintels.
Two garage bays, one deeper than the other, are on the lowest level, along with a hobby or workshop space, coat closet, and a couple of storage areas. Family living spaces fill the main floor, while four bedrooms and two bathrooms are above.
A wide coat closet is just inside the foyer, which opens on a hallway with four options: den to the left, living room ahead, stairs and gathering room to the right.
In the living room, the central of three wide windows opens onto a balcony deck. A stack of shelves and a clean, efficient gas fireplace are across the room.
Everyday family living centers on the Ridgeview's gathering room, which is totally open to the kitchen. Windows fill most of the back wall, letting in plenty of natural light. A long built-in window seat nestles into a wide window bay on the right.
The kitchen's L-shaped work island boasts an eating bar and a veggie sink. Standing at the main sink, you have views in two directions. Potted plants flourish in the bright triangle of space there.
A powder room is nearby, and utilities are also conveniently close, hidden behind pocket doors in an alcove across the room.
