Mediterranean House Plan - Pereza 11-075 - Floor Plan
Pereza covers all bases with varied spaces
Just as the kitchen is at the heart of family life, so it is in the Pereza--right smack dab in the middle of everything. This mid-size three-bedroom plan covers every base, offering both formal and informal family gathering spaces.
Accessible from all directions, it opens into the dining room, entry hall, family room, and a utility room that connects with the garage. Pocket doors in the passageways to the entry and dining room allow busy cooks to close off the kitchen when they want the clatter of pots and pans, or the piles of dirty dishes, out of sight or earshot.
The kitchen sink faces into the family room across a lengthy raised eating bar, allowing members of the clean-up crew to stay involved with conversations or other activities. A walk-in pantry provides ample storage space for staple food items and canned goods. Utilities are but a few steps away, in a large laundry room outfitted with a deep sink, folding counters, overhead cabinets, and a closet for hanging freshly ironed clothes.
Formal rooms--living room and dining room--are to the left and right of the entry. Both have boxed-out window bays that could be fitted with window seats. The family room is the largest room in the house. Sliders at the rear open onto a screened porch that is also accessible from the owners' suite.
Luxuries in the Pereza's owners' suite include a huge walk-in closet, his and hers vanities, corner shower and a spa tub.
