Country-style Napa takes in the views
The Napa is a country home designed for construction on acreage with an expansive view. Its generous assortment of gables, windows and other Craftsman features create a pleasing façade.
Light washes into the vaulted and naturally illuminated foyer through slender sidelights and an arched multi-paned transom. Double doors on the left open into a den with a cozy sleeping alcove. Bedrooms, bathrooms and a secluded reading nook are down a hallway to the right.
Straight ahead, the foyer leads into the bright and spacious vaulted great room at the heart of this home. Wide window sets, stacked two high, fill most of the rear wall. The upper set is gracefully arched at the top. Shelves or cabinetry flank the wood-burning fireplace on the right.
The space on the left is entirely open to the dining room and kitchen. Atrium doors in the dining area lead out onto a large screened porch.
The luxurious vaulted owners’ suite is off in a wing to itself. With the exception of the bonus room over the three-car garage, this is a single-level plan.
