Small Belmont is big on versatility
The Belmont is a small, updated ranch-style home with a spacious feeling. Its compact footprint and floor plan makes it economical to build and maintain.
With the exception of the bedroom over the garage, living spaces are all on one level. This plan comes already adapted for wheelchair accessibility, which makes it appealing to mature families wishing to downsize. Young families starting out will also find much to appreciate here.
The Craftsman-style door and windows combine with shake-textured siding to create an appealing front façade. Entering, you step right into a large gathering space that fills the entire right side, front to back, then opens onto a covered patio at the rear.
In the living room, light washes in through the wide front window set, plus high windows flanking the gas fireplace. More spills into the dining area through side windows and sliding glass doors. Wide windows above the sink make for an equally bright kitchen.
A raised conversation bar rims the work island that provides partial separation between the dining room and kitchen. Cabinets fill the space under the island’s counter, while a generous array of cabinets, counters and appliances runs along two walls.
Bedrooms, bathrooms and a utility room are clustered on the left side. Sliding glass doors in the owners’ suite offers direct access to the rear patio. Other amenities include a linen closet, large walk-in closet alcove, and a bathroom with dual vanity and a curbless roll-in shower.
More linen closets nestle into hallway alcoves outside bedrooms two and three. These bedrooms share the Belmont’s main bathroom, which has a combination tub and shower. The utility room has a deep sink and offers a direct link to the two-car garage.
